Incense Stone / Basalt

from 28.00

For these incense stones, striking deep brown clay is thrown first on the potters wheel as a closed form, then paddled, burnished, and altered to resemble a smooth beach stone or river rock. Can be used both for incense or for little buds or branches. Optional hand formed tray is useful for catching incense ashes.

Inspired by my life long love of rock collecting wherever I go. Ready to ship. Handmade every step of the way.
